A BIT ABOUT ME

I am passionate about thriving rural communities and positive opportunities within a changing landscape.

In working with and learning from leaders across the country I recognize that a key to sustained success lies in the ability of an organization to adapt.  Another key is that extraordinary work is accomplished by the people within an organization and a community.  I believe in the power of collaboration and that engaged people can change the world for the better. 

​

We are definitely experiencing a changing landscape.  There is change with technology for sharing information and analyzing results, there is change in the way that health care is being delivered, being used, and even being imagined.  There is change in where people are living and why they are choosing to live there.  There is change in the way that we think about our communities.

Within all of this change there is opportunity to see things differently and this helps us to take on new ways of thinking and working.  Sometimes it may feel like a wild ride through whitewater.

I may be able to help.  I have been working with leaders as they navigate the changing health care landscape by helping them think strategically, and by giving them processes for planning that are participative, action-oriented, and inclusive.  I have been helping them bring people together to find shared solutions to complex problems in a way that is open to innovation and structured enough to feel do-able.
